Acclaimed live music destination The Caverns has partnered with prominent dynamic jamtronic band Papadosio to present Subterranea Festival, an intimate 1,200 capacity two-night spectacle in southeast Tennessee and the first-ever camping festival at The Caverns. This deep underground event will take place inside one of the venue’s largest caves and feature onsite camping, live art, yoga, workshops, sound baths, cave tours, food trucks, and of course, great music across two days and nights.

Subterranea Festival will spotlight four sets of Papadosio, plus performances by artists hand-selected by the band such as Sunsquabi, Doom Flamingo, Lespecial, Cloudchord, Earthcry, Axel Thesleff, and many more.

In addition to The Caverns traditional hotel and transportation packages, Subterranea guests have the opportunity to camp on-site. This new overnight option will make it easy for guests to enjoy all the festival's late night programming. The Caverns is a well known staple in the national music community located in a beautiful rural area of Grundy County, Tennessee, approximately 1.5 hours southeast of Nashville. Daytime workshops and mesmeric cave adventure flow into late night auditory treats for an immersive, first-of-its-kind experience not to be missed.

  • I purchased a tent setup from Dancin’ Dave's, how will I find my tent? A representative from Dancin’ Daves will reach out prior to the event to let you know where your setup will be.
  • I purchased a VIP Camping pass and a Dancin’ Dave package, will I still be able to pick my tent location? Yes, please indicate in the comments at Dancin’ Dave’s checkout that you have a VIP Camping Pass and a Dancin’ Dave representative will coordinate with you directly to place your tent in a great spot.
  • I purchased a camping pass but I’ve decided to stay off site? If you are staying off-site during the event and plan to leave each night you will need to park the Day Parking Lot. Day Parking ends one hour after music ends each night (~6a CT) and any vehicles parked after this time will be towed at the owner's expense. Inform the staff at the Main Entrance of your intentions when you arrive and they will point you in the right direction. Please note that re-entry is not allowed after 8p CT.
  • What if someone is sick or gets hurt? If medical attention is needed, there will be medical staff at the first aid tent in camping 24/7 as well as an onsite medic/ambulance. In the event of an emergency, contact the closest security personnel and we will bring first aid support directly to your location. In the event of an emergency inside the cave, please contact the closest staff or security personnel and they will initiate response. An ambulance will be on site in case further medical care is needed.
  • Can I bring my pets? Pets and dogs are not permitted in camping or concert grounds unless they are certified service animal.
