Host Your Private Event Underground in The Caverns

A magical setting for your next private event awaits beneath the Earth's surface in Grundy County, Tennessee. Imagine hosting your guests inside a magical cave for a private event they won't stop talking about.

Popular cave configurations:

  • 1,200 capacity for standing room only events
  • 850 capacity for theater-style seated events.
  • 290 capacity for seated events at 36 round 64" tables

What's more, The Caverns' guided cave tours and adventure caving expeditions make for great team-building activities. At the end of the day, your small group could recharge in The Caverns 20 climate-controlled, luxury yurts. Or for larger gatherings, reserve The Caverns campground for the evening. Both the yurt village and campground are a short, enchanted walk through the woods from The Caverns underground event space.

But before we get started, please read the following guidelines about private events at The Caverns.

  • Private events are limited to Monday–Thursday. We do not host private events on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

  • We do not work with outside concert promoters or ticketed public events.

  • Private event rentals are intended for private functions, including corporate events, non-profit fundraisers, and similar gatherings.

  • Tours and site walks for prospective private events are by appointment only.

  • Please reach out only if you are able to host your event Monday–Thursday and agree to these guidelines.
