Where do we park for our amphitheater show at The Caverns? +

Parking for all amphitheater patrons is in the lots along Charlie Roberts Road just after you pass the church at the bend in the road. Please do not drive up to The Caverns gift shop. All patrons will park in the amphitheater lots and walk the footpath to the amphitheater. Due to safety concerns, we will not allow entry to the venue by foot from Charlie Roberts Road. Parking is free and included with the price of your ticket.

What’s the terrain like and how long is the walk? +

The Caverns Amphitheater is an outdoor musical venue in a natural setting. You will be walking on uneven gravel, grass, and wood chips and we recommend you wear outdoor sneakers or shoes. Please do not wear your high heels, you will not have much fun in them. The path from parking to the venue is approximately 1,200 ft with some minor elevation changes and uneven terrain. If you or someone in your party may not be able to make the walk, please email info@thecaverns.com with your specific situation and we can arrange onsite parking for you. Only the vehicle with the person unable to make the walk will be permitted to park onsite.

They will direct you to accessible parking onsite closer to the venue and help drive the person in who needs assistance. Please feel free to reach out to us ahead of time at info@thecaverns.com with any specific requests or questions. After the show please stay in your area and once the crowd has thinned out we can drive the vehicle into the venue to begin transporting. Please note that only the car with the person who needs assistance may park onsite, you will have to meet each other in the venue once the doors open.

Please note: Due to safety concerns, we will not allow entry to the venue by foot from Charlie Roberts Road. All foot traffic must enter through The Caverns campground and along the venue footpath.

For most amphitheater shows, the parking lot opens at 3p CT. Come early and tailgate! Please note, parking for the amphitheater is offsite. Please see the venue map and look for signage on the way in. The amphitheater parking lots are located off of Charlie Roberts Road past the camping entrance. There will be signage directing you to day parking. Please follow the signs and staff directions. Please do not enter the campgrounds unless you have a camping ticket.

A cave tour is included with my package or ticket purchase. Where do I go to take my tour and when? +

Please let the parking attendants know you’re taking a tour and they’ll allow you to pass the camping and day parking lots and proceed to the Gift Shop building onsite where cave tours depart. You may temporarily park onsite while you take your tour. After your tour please proceed back down the road to amphitheater parking. If you are unable to take your tour the day of the show, your tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

I didn’t buy a package that came with a cave tour, but we’d like to take a tour while we’re at The Caverns, can we? +

Yes! Cave tours can be booked online in advance, book yours here. Walk-ups accepted on the day of the show based on availability. If you’re planning to walk up, please call (931) 516-9724 in advance to check on availability.

Can we bring our own chairs or blankets? +

No blankets, sorry. But please bring a chair to enjoy the show. If you purchased reserved seating you will have a seat provided by the venue. Please have all chairs out of bags and ready for inspection at the security checkpoint. Whenever possible, please bring chairs low to the ground to help those behind you see the stage better.

I bought reserved seating for my show, where do I go? +

For most amphitheater shows, our reserved seating will be the closest sections to the stage. You will get a comfortable plastic adirondack style chair to enjoy the show. For most shows, reserved seating patrons will have exclusive access to our underground music venue to use the bathrooms, the private bar and check out merch. To access the cave, walk to the right of the stage and follow the path down to the cave. You can also use the outdoor concessions, food trucks and the porta potties. If you have trouble finding your seats one of our ushers will happily assist you.

I have general admission lawn tickets, where do I sit? +

You can sit almost anywhere you want. Find your favorite vantage point and kick back and enjoy. General admission lawn tickets do not provide access to the reserved seating area up close to the stage or the underground venue. Please enjoy the concessions, food trucks and porta potties at the back of the venue.

Where are the bathrooms? +

Porta-potties are located at the back of the venue behind the concessions area. If you purchased reserved seats you may choose to use either the outdoor porta potties at the back of the venue or take advantage of your exclusive access to our underground venue’s bathrooms, bar and merchandise. To get to the cave, head to the right of the stage and follow the path down.

Since we’re outside, can I smoke? +

No, smoking is only allowed in certain areas behind concessions and in the mouth of the cave. Nothing against smokers, but smoke can easily travel into someone else’s face making for an unpleasant experience. Please look for the smoking permitted signs or ask an usher or security staff member for the closest smoking section.

What happens if severe weather occurs? +

All shows are rain or shine—yes, even in wet weather. If you are asked to temporarily leave the venue and you have general admission tickets, please calmly head back to your cars. If you’re in the reserved seating section, please head down to the underground venue. We work with local weather specialists to attempt to identify dangerous weather in the area. In the event of severe weather, we will communicate to patrons via our main stage PA and our social channels. We recommend you check out our social media for an official post regarding the show prior to leaving the parking lots/venue. Most severe weather passes quickly and the show may commence within 30 minutes.

Can I camp at The Caverns after the show? +

Yes! Car camping is available for most shows at The Caverns as a separate ticket. Every car, truck, SUV, minivan or other standard vehicle will need a Car Camping Pass to enter The Caverns’ camping area (think of it like a ticket for your car). For RVs longer than 20', please purchase the amount of camping passes you'll need for your RV to fit (for example, 26" RV, you'll need two camping passes). Everyone entering the camping area must have purchased a ticket for the show that evening. For any questions, email us at info@thecaverns.com.

Campsite sizes are roughly 20’x20' and vehicles must fit within the 20x20’ space. You may NOT buy extra campsites around a single vehicle. There is no “per person” camping fee for most shows. So, for example, if you have 3 people coming in one car, you only need 1 Car Camping Pass.

Only “rough” camping is currently available. This means we provide you a 20x20’ flat grassy area for you, your car and your tents. There are port-a-potties, but no potable water available and no electrical or water hookups onsite.

You may have a campfire, but campfire cannot be on the ground. You will need to bring your own above ground fire ring or grill to have a fire, as well as your own fire wood. Please do not start a fire before your show begins. If you do start a fire before your event, it must be completely out when leaving the campground for the show.

Access to the campsite will typically be at 3p CT on the day of your show and all campers must vacate the campsite by 10a CT the following morning unless you have a ticket for the show the next night. You will need a Car Camping Pass for each night you’re staying onsite.

For safety, all foot traffic to The Caverns must go through The Caverns campground and down a footpath to the amphitheater and cave. We will not allow entry to the venue by foot from Charlie Roberts Road.

For frequently asked questions about camping, please visit this webpage.

Can I bring my dog/goat/parrot? +

Pets are not allowed. If you arrive at the venue with your dog, you will not be permitted entrance. All tickets are non-refundable. We have compiled a list of pet boarding kennels in the vicinity of The Caverns below. We are not affiliated with any of these establishments.

Service Animals: The Caverns welcomes trained service animals in accordance with state and federal guidelines. A trained service animal is individually trained to perform a task(s) or work for a person with a physical or mental disability. Only dogs are accepted as trained service animals. “Service Animal” has a specific meaning under the American with Disabilities Act, an emotional support animal generally will not satisfy this requirement.

The ADA requires that trained service animals be under the control of their handler at all times. Tennessee law requires that dogs over 6 months of age be currently vaccinated against rabies. A service dog that is disruptive or presents a threat to the health or safety of others may be asked to leave the property. The Caverns is in a rural location, if you’d like to submit your information to our service animal portal prior to arrival, it will help us prepare for your arrival and connect you with your service animal should you become separated at any time.

Support Animals and Pets: We love support animals and pets, but we are unable to welcome your support animals and pets to The Caverns. Please leave them at home because they cannot be in the venue and we don’t want any furry friends left in the car. “Service Animal” has a specific meaning under the American with Disabilities Act, an emotional support animal generally will not satisfy this requirement.
