On August 17 & 18, the highly anticipated Big Mouth Bluegrass Festival returns to The Caverns offering a refreshing underground escape from the summer heat with red hot line-up featuring John McEuen & The Circle Band, Blue Highway, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, Junior Sisk, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, Wyatt Ellis, The Price Sisters, Barefoot Nellie & Co., Off The Wagon, Cutter & Cash and The Kentucky Grass, as well as Blake Williams who returns as the festival’s emcee. A Summer Camp Like No Other On Earth—Or Below It!
We're looking forward to hosting two full sessions of Camp Caverns, an overnight camp for kids ages 8 to 14. Camp life is centered around The Caverns property at the base of the Cumberland Plateau where boys and girls sleep in yurts each night. Camp days are filled exploring underground passages, ziplining through the trees, hiking through a lush forest to a swimming hole, and much more. Experience a walking tour where only a few cavers have gone before! The Caverns has opened to the public a new otherworldly cave for daily guided tours. Explore an underground room 3 football fields long! Hear about geology, cave lore, and the unique history of Grundy County. How Do I Get My Tickets?
All tickets are emailed to you. Please print your tickets prior to coming to the venue. If you’re unable to print your tickets please go to Will Call located at the Welcome Center.
