About the position: The Caverns is looking for a full-time Marketing & Customer Service Coordinator to work remotely as an integral part of the executive team and under the supervision of the Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail oriented, and possess a willingness to go above and beyond to help The Caverns achieve success in all areas of its business, from concerts and cave tours to new initiatives and programs. Passionate about live music and the outdoors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to the creation of ongoing, engaging social posts/content to support The Caverns concerts and cave tours, and manage fan engagement on venue platforms including; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
Monitor and respond to all direct messages through social media platforms.
Respond to inbound email and direct message inquiries.
Answer phone calls from customers during scheduled hours.
Accountable for responding to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Assist in creating and fulfilling promotions with partners to increase social engagement and drive ticket sales.
Assist in building e-newsletters to promote new concert announcements.
Real-time track and record sales when concerts go on sale, from pre-sales through the first day of the general on sale.
Update show listings with advertising vendors such as the Nashville Scene.
Fulfill requests from charities for gift certificates, etc.
As necessary, attend events at The Caverns and meetings with staff.
All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1-2 years of experience in the music industry marketing or related field preferred.
Experience with customer service and dealing with customers on phone and email.
Experience with Photoshop or equivalent software such as Affinity Photo.
Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Experience with CRM platforms like Streak or HubSpot a plus.
Ability to work and be flexible in a faced paced deadline driven work environment.
Ability to time manage and work independently.
Willingness to work non traditional hours with flexibility.
Experience with ticketing software like Eventbrite is a plus.
